You should be familiar with the [[Structure of an Item]] section and know the difference between an Accessory and a Component.

* In the Accessories section, select Add a new accessory
* In the Add Accessory screen, select the Item to add in the Product Field
* Select the Quantity to add
* If we don't charge customers for the accessory, select Zero Priced.

Select on of the following:
* Default - The quantity specified is included by default, but can be modified
* Mandatory - The quantity specified has to be present or the item won't be functional.
* Optional - The item is an option that needs to be added explicitly.

Select the type:
* Accessory - Accessory shows up on quotes, invoices and packing lists
* Component - is does NOT show up on quotes or invoices, but is on packing lists
* Safety Item - items related to safety. Shows up on quotes, invoices and packing lists.
