You should be familiar with the Structure of an Item section and know the difference between an Accessory and a Component.
- In the Accessories section, select Add a new accessory
- In the Add Accessory screen, select the Item to add in the Product Field
- Select the Quantity to add
- If we don't charge customers for the accessory, select Zero Priced.
Select on of the following:
- Default - The quantity specified is included by default, but can be modified
- Mandatory - The quantity specified has to be present or the item won't be functional.
- Optional - The item is an option that needs to be added explicitly.
Select the type:
- Accessory - Accessory shows up on quotes, invoices and packing lists
- Component - is does NOT show up on quotes or invoices, but is on packing lists
- Safety Item - items related to safety. Shows up on quotes, invoices and packing lists.
