A pipe clamp, also called a Theatre C, is a type of hook meant to hung a light on a piece of 1-1/4" of 1-1/2" speedrail.
Uses
While it is mostly used to hang lights on pipe, it can be used as any sort of rigging point. The baby pipe clamp has a uniquely designed hook that keeps the clamp on the pipe even with a light fixture attached while the bolt is being tightened. Sometimes they can have a safety chain or cotter pin attached permanently to them as well.
