Office Open
When opening up the office, the following tasks should be performed:
- Inspect Exterior of shop for debris (cigarette butts, papers, cans) and discard in garbage
- Any trash can more than half full should be emptied and a new liner put in.
- Trash should be emptied into the dumpster.
We have Cans at the following Locations:
- Bullpen (Medium)
- Water Fountain (small)
- Bathrooms (2) (small)
- Studio (Medium)
- Bay (Large)
Office Closing
- Turn off Light in Studio
- Make sure studio doors are closed
- Make sure bay door is secure on BOTH sides
- Make sure BOTH bay doors are closed
- Turn off lights in Studio, Bay, and rest of office
- Turn on Alarm before locking front door
Office Cleaning Schedule
Daily
- Inspect Exterior & pick-up litter
- Empty Garbage Cans
- Supply Check: Bathrooms - Toiler Paper & Paper Towel
- Supply Check: Kitchen - Paper Towel, Water in Fridge
- Sweep Front of Bay.
Weekly
- Tuesday: Vacuum Carpet Area
- Wednesday: Clean Bathrooms
- Thursday: Sweep back of bay, Clean Kitchen, Check Supplies
Monthly
- Clean Front Windows
All cleaning activities are tracked via the cleaning log form, located inside the cupboard door above the sink in the kitchen.
When a cleaning activity is done, initial the appropriate box. Workers will be held accountable for performing the cleaning duties on schedule.

As part of the weekly inspection process, the office supplies should be inspected, and if the stock is low, the a message should be put on the #needslist slack channel.
Bathroom Cleaning Procedures
Nobody likes to clean the bathrooms, but unlike your house, you are getting paid to do it.
Bathrooms should be cleaned on Wednesdays, as it is a low traffic day. The cleaning should be done before the door is unlocked. See above for the cleaning supply locations.
Both restrooms should be cleaned as per the following:
Toilet Cleaning
- Lift toilet seat and use the Clorox Wand and clean the toilet bowl. Make sure to go up to the rim of the bowl. Flush Toilet
- Discard the spent sponge in the garbage can.
- Put on two gloves
- Take a Clorox wipe and clean the rim of the bowl. Discard.
- Take a Clorox wipe and clean the outside of the bowl. Discard.
- Take a Clorox wipe and clean the toilet seat, both Top and bottom. Discard.
- Discard gloves.
Sink Cleaning
- If the sink is wet, take a paper towel and dry it.
- Take a Clorox wipe and clean the fixture first, then the sink basin. Discard
Floor Cleaning
- Move Garbage Can outside bathroom.
- Use a dry Swiffer to pick-up dirt and dust on the floor. You can do both rooms with a single Swiffer. Discard
- Use a wet Swiffer to clean the tiles. Discard.
Garbage Cans
- Remove the garbage can liner, tie it and put in large trash can.
- Put new liner (from the bottom of the can) in garbage can.
