Add Accessories to a Product

You should be familiar with the Structure of an Item section and know the difference between an Accessory and a Component.

  • In the Accessories section, select Add a new accessory
  • In the Add Accessory screen, select the Item to add in the Product Field
  • Select the Quantity to add
  • If we don't charge customers for the accessory, select Zero Priced.

Select on of the following:

  • Default - The quantity specified is included by default, but can be modified
  • Mandatory - The quantity specified has to be present or the item won't be functional.
  • Optional - The item is an option that needs to be added explicitly.

Select the type:

  • Accessory - Accessory shows up on quotes, invoices and packing lists
  • Component - is does NOT show up on quotes or invoices, but is on packing lists
  • Safety Item - items related to safety. Shows up on quotes, invoices and packing lists.
